Unsere Modenschau am Donnerstag, dem 28. Oktober war wieder ein großer Erfolg. Wir zählten 176 Gäste – ohne die Vorführdamen. Es war ein sehr schöner Nachmittag. Ich bedanke mich bei allen Frauen die mir mit den Vorbereitungen geholfen haben. Die Modelle trugen die neuesten Moden im besten Stil, gewandt und gekannt, vor. Wir waren alle stolz auf unsere vorführenden Mitglieder.
Zur Weihnachtszeit und Jahreswende möchte ich mich bei meiner tüchtigen Frauengruppe bedanken. Es ist manchmal nicht leicht, allen Recht zu machen, aber immer wieder kommt eine stützende Hand, oder ein liebes, aufmunterndes Wort, gerade dann wenn es am Notwendigsten gebraucht wird. Und dafür, liebe Frauen, bedanke ich mich von ganzem Herzen. Das Weihnachtsfest ist die größte Freude der Kinder, weil das Christkind Geschenke bringt. Für uns Erwachsene hat es natürlich eine tiefere Bedeutung, weil unser Heiland für uns geboren ist. In diesem Sinne wünsche ich allen Frauen, mit Familien, FROHE WEIHNACHTEN UND EIN GESEGNETES, GESUNDES NEUES JAHR IM NEUEN MILLENNIUM.
Ich möchte nochmals darauf hinweisen, daß unsere Weihnachtsfeier am Donnerstag, dem 16. Dezember stattfindet, um 6:00 Uhr. Bitte kommt alle, um einige schöne und sinnvolle Stunden zusammen verbringen. In Liebe und Freundschaft, Eure Stefi _

... from our Ladies
Our annual fashion show on Thursday, October 28th was a great success again. We had 176 guests – not counting the members who modeled. It was a beautiful and rewarding afternoon, enjoyed by everyone. I want to thank all the ladies who helped me with the preparations for this event. The models
, with great style and know-how, presented the latest fashions. We were all very proud of our "professional" members.
As the year comes to a close and Christmas is approaching, I would like to thank my hard-working Ladies Auxiliary. It is not always easy, trying to please everybody, but every now and again comes a supporting hand or a kind and encouraging word – just when it seems you need it the most. And for that, dear ladies, I wish to thank you with all my heart. Christmas time brings the greatest joy to the children, because Santa brings presents. For us adults it has a deeper meaning, because our Savior is born. In this spirit, I think of all the ladies of our Ladies Group and their families and I wish them a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED, HEALTHY NEW YEAR IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM.
I would like to remind you once again, that our Christmas party is scheduled for Thursday evening, December 16th at 6:00 p.m. Please mark your calendars and come and spend some nice and meaningful hours together.
