Welcome! You have reached the web site of the Carpathia Club, Inc. Detroit’s largest German Cultural Organization and the home of the Danube Swabian ethnic Germans in Metro Detroit. With over 1,100 members, Carpathia is dedicated to the preservation and proliferation of German culture through song, ethnic dance, and the development of German language skills.

The Carpathia Kickers are one of Michigan’s top Soccer organizations, sponsoring teams in a wide range of age groups U9 to Over 40. Our other "Untergruppen" (under groups) include the Hunters, Ladies Auxiliary, and Seniors, whose purpose is to satisfy the diverse interests of our membership while providing a German cultural flavor.

Carpathia Hall, located at 38000 Utica Road in Sterling Heights(586.978.2292), has become the focal point for nearly all German cultural activities in Southeastern Michigan. Carpathia Hall is also home to the German American Cultural Center, made up of numerous smaller, organizations catering to specific German ethnic groups with varying ancestral backgrounds.
