Kulturgruppe
The Kulturgruppe is together because we love to dance; whether we are 20ish or 60ish-we all have something in common that bonds us together. Right now our youngest is 19 and our young at heart is over 60. If you are interested in joining our group please contact our leader or send us an email so we can get you a practice schedule.
We had a great 2007, learned new dances, performed at new places and gained new faces. We are 24 strong, and will always welcome the chance to grow. 2008 looks to be just as great, our practice schedule is out, with plans for new dances, relearning older ones and having our Hoe-Down.
January 6th starts out our year for practices, with new faces all ready to join us. We have lost a co-leader due to a move to another state, but have other members stepping up into roles to fill this absence. We will continue on with one leader, with everyone helping out as much as they can.
The Hoe-Down will be featuring the Original Carpathia Brothers (now retired), and the new Carpathia Boys. We will be featuring a skit, dancing, food and maybe some drink specials. (Still in negations with the last one). We would love to see everyone out for a fun filled evening August 16, 2008.
We are always searching for new and exciting places to show off our dancing. If you or someone you know are interested please contact our leader (or email us) and we will be happy to talk with you, and hopefully come out to share our culture.
